car vibrates at stop then shakes then completely just dies PLEASE HELP!!! im only 18

basically like i said i have a 1990 integra ls 4 dr sedan and i bought it recently so i can get around to work and school .....so heres my problem everytime im driving the car i have to put it in neutral to keep it on and when i hae the brake on while in drive the car starts to shake and then just die can anyone help me please!!!!!

the only reason i put it into neutral is so that the car doesn't shut off on me which it has been for awhile and i can't seem to figure out why

thats really weird... its gotta be somewhere in the electrical... or maybe the trans... i dunno i wish i could hlep

i think it is electrical too cuz when i broke down a while bak there was a performance shop nearby and they told me there were electrical problems and that its just needed sum new wiring cuz the car is so old but i'll try cleanin the throttle body as well

Heres a thing I have thats 'similar' When I brake at idle my car vibrates pretty good, but it doesn't die. Also when anything else is electrical and used when at idle the car will vibrate till I accelerate... I am pretty sure its my alternator because I cleaned out my throttle body and checked for vacuum

your puting load when you have it on gear when in neutral theres no load im guessing your spark plugs are bad take them out and do a visual inspection if they look eroded replace them you will know trust me it will look like there nothing there

i just bought new spark plugs and im from gilbert az and i guess i should get a tune up its been awhile im guessing cuz i just bought the car from an owner down the street from me
