Car stereo won't work?

I was gifted my 93 integra by my girlfriend, when I got in it to start it, the battery was dead. I had to jump it everytime I wanted to go somewhere for a week, then I got a new battery.

Well, ever since I got it, the stereo has never worked. All it does is flash the red "anti-theft" light. My gf said it flashed that its whole life, but when she had the car it worked.

I just marked the stereo as busted, and tried to put a new on in it. I put a new one in, and it won't even work. It acts like it gets no power to it.

Anyone have any solutions?

Have you checked to see if your getting proper power from the direct power as well as keyed power? Also make sure you have a sufficient ground for the stereo its self

The power wires I believe are the orange (or yellow) and red wires. One will have power while the car is off and when the car is one it should have two wire showing it has power to them. The one that didn't show power before the car was in is your aux power or your keyed power. Verify those are both getting proper power and then we can go from there

The book says that the 12+ volt ignition wire is yellow with red stripe and the 12+ volt battery wire is white with yellow or blue stripe. I check to see if these are both getting power by plugging a wire tester up to them, right? (sorry i'm new to electronics in cars).

If these are or aren't getting power, what could be the problem from there?

When I plugged the old stereo up, I could here the CD player in it start up, but then no buttons would respond or anything. Just the light would flash. When I plugged in my aftermarket Pioneer, nothing started up but I am 100% sure it works. (ripped it out of my old car).

Fuse's were all in check, but I just noticed that my security light doesn't even blink anymore.. This might be a water damage problem... Since we had a really bad snow and rain yesterday.

Alright I checked the wires, the ignition wire said it was only getting about half power and the battery wire was off the charts.
