car starting problems

after i turn of my da9 it wont turn on again and i have to wait a while for it in order for it to turn back on. Any one have any ideas what the problem might be? im new to the site.:???:

yea last week but it wasnt doing that untill now.

Have you done a tune up on it yet ?.It could be a number of things.

i just changed the rotor distibutor cap the spark plugs the alternator and betterie are good the starter seem to be good so what other things could posibly be affecting it?

fuel problems,are you getting spark?

yea im getting spark i was thinking would any sensor be a problem?

does it crank over ,do you hear the fuel pump start.check all you're fuses

what do you mean by crank over? ill make sure to check al the fuses to see if any of them are failing.

does it try to start.

yea it trys to start but sometimes it doesnt start right away and i have to leave it for a while and then it starts after a few tries and i dont know waht else might be the problem. but for sure im gonna check the fuses. any ideas would be helpful.

have you try to jump start it ?
could be the main relay going out on you or fuel problems

The main relay (fuel relay) was my solution to similar symptoms, hear all three clicks when you turn the key on. It went from rarely starting to never having a problem.

I didnt fix mine, I just grabbed another one at a local pick a part because theyre kinda expensive at auto parts stores
