yeah, im a cheap mofo so a buddy helped me cut it and fit the filter on it, but im thinking.....heat is bad and the tube still gets hot for obvious reasons so im thinking......exhaust tape! that should cut down on how hot it gets...this is all just theory though!

you will still get heak soak from the air going into t he filter

yeah i know, but that will only be at low speeds once i hit the highway its on, the tape is just to keep the tubing cool during stop and go traffic!

not necessarily, you will still get heat soak reguardless unless you have a CAI

yeah right, and son? dude i have 6 years on you...let me clarify....im cheap and lazy, though i ant really say lazy cause my best friend would be more than happy to help, but im more lazy in that tracking down parts will be a mother, but i will get her up to spec!
