car burning oil!

my 1990 LS is burning oil....i can smell the oil burning...i have not the slightest clue where its coming from...the head isnt leaking or nething....but i smell the oil burning...not a real lot but i can smell it....i check the oil everyday and about 3-4 days into checking it it starts to go down...if ne one could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated

Pull out the spark plug wires and see if any of them have oil on them!

is this all a bad head gasket? makes no sense wouldnt it be leaking from the head

No that would be the spark plug gaskets if there is oil on the wires!

If you get a valve cover gasket kit they should come in that, which is about 20-30 dollars!
