Car Accident

i got into a car accident last week. (noone got hurt or anything) and the other persons car had NO dmage on it whatsoever, but my car got pretty messed up. None of the internals were broken, thank god! but my hood is trash and my headlights are broken. So i was messing around today trying to see what i need to fix my car, and there is this metal bar going across the whole from of my car that is bent in, which is causing my headlights to sink inside of the car. From what i can see this metal bar thing is connected to both the radiator and headlights. I was wondering where i could get one of these and how much it would cost. Sorry if this is confusing haha, if you know what in talking about please help. Ill try to put pics of the damage up so it makes more sense to people.

Aww damn that sucks, im sorry man. I hate those people in those big ass trucks too, i live nowhere near any rural area or anything so noone over here even has any business drving those giant truckes here on they daily anyways. They drive around thinkin they own the road. And they can do what they want cuz they could seriously fuck up my car.

Lulz...I do feel bad about the car and hope you get it fixed up, but this is the dumbest, most ignorant thing I've read tonight yet. Drivers of all types of vehicles can be idiots. The largest grouping of idiots I see on the road are the import crowd, by far. Ricers galore. There are a lot of responsible people driving trucks out there. I don't care if I'm in a fucking major metropolitan area, I will rent a truck every time if I can snag one. Why? Because I like them :)

But, to answer your question...that is the upper radiator support. Fairly easy to fix...almost looks like you could even pull it out, but hard to tell.

Sorry, i didnt mean to come off as ignorent. Im actually a prety resonable guy. It was meant for a specific kind of mindset of some people who drive trucks, not all. Im sure you know people like what im talking about. But also i guess there san be people like that with import cars as well, haha i even have a few friends like that....

and also, i thought i could just take the piece off and replace it with a new one but from what ive read from this thread http://www.clubintegra.com/board/showthread.php?t=65782 shown from rexpepper123, it doesnt seem like something id wanna mess with it myself. Or is this thread wrong and it could be easily fixed without needing help from a bodyshop?

those reinforcement bars should be illegal, if they haven't already killed people they will. when someone has one of those and is not responsible its dangerous. i dont see the need for a civilian to have these at all. blows my mind when i got pulled over for my rear tow hook, officer "you know if some hits you its really going to mess up there car", my reply "i dont think they should be hitting my car in the first place", officer paused with a bewildered look.

if you got the tools and the skill you could do it yourself but if you question your abilities then id seek pro help. the bottom of that thread has a great idea of what you need to do. just check around an see how much it would cost to have someone fix it. maybe you have a buddy whos good with a welder or family member. its not to hard to get off but the hard part is getting it back on and in the correct spot and aligned proper. you could prob cut cost by finding or your own replacement and taking it to a shop just to have them remove it and weld in the new an you take care of the paint work. i the kid across the street from me he had a boosted civic and his girl ran it in to a tree one night an he thought he could fix it but he ended up selling it after he got the core support out since he didnt have a welder an i dont think he knew what he was doing either.

Hi, i'm Kris. I own big ass trucks.

I was unaware that you were the one person who gets to decide what vehicle is everyone's "business" to drive.
Statements like that are the reason I want to drive over Imports. ;)
