Tuesday I get my headers I ordered of E-bay......plus I also get my custom box built into the back of my Hatch......I'll post pics as soon as it's all done

Hey man sweet! If you need help getting the (im guessing) very rusty bolts off from the header to the cat, PM me. I just did it today to install my catback exhaust :D. Had to take off the cat too in order to reach the bolts.

Lol woops meant my header.....to excited and it was a off brand header......I've done a header change before on my old 99 eclipse I did so I know how to do it.....got enough tools here between myself and my boys won't take to much to do......also considering the whole motor was gone over when they did the swap...bout a year ago shouldn't be to rusted

alot of people won't go ebay for parts but honestly I've never had a single problem with ebay parts

One thing i heard negative about eBay is that the welds are not as good. I personally don't have an eBay parts on my car. I has no teg :( People have different tastes in which parts they like. as far as power gains they will be all the same with megan, dc, and ebay.

Ebay headers are hit or miss when it comes to quality. I've known a few people who have bought the no-name headers from the bay and had absolutely no problems and got the same performance gains that a 200-300 more header would of done.

As long as your state doesnt have strict emissions laws, then theres really no need to buy an expensive ass header other than to say that you have one--they all do the same shit.

my ebay header has been wonderful. it was suppose ot be black when i got it but most of the paint had flaked off during shipping lol i think i paid like 64 dollars with shipping for it maybe less even. i dont know if id put ebay valves or antything like that in my car but a cheap intake or header some strut bars or something ill buy tho haha

I paid 65 total for my header and it's black.....looks just like the one for I bought my eclipse when I had it.....never had a issue with the one on my eclipse and it stayed black the whole time I had it on.....Also the welds stuck together...so we'll see how it goes when I get it and throw it on.....I hope I have no problems but either way it wasn't expensive so yeah...plus oregon has no emissions where I live at least...we don't have to go through smog ever thank god

In Portland you do, that's where I grew up, its easy to pass though, I do my emissions and put everything on the next day, then I'm good for a year or two. By then I've blown the car up or want another project

I have gotten headers off ebay, Theres things you wouldnt buy.. Valves, pistons , rods, wlabro pumps, turbo manifolds (cast iron is ok) there are just to many fakes on ebay but if its not super important (intakes, headers, exhaust (you can correct them) are all ok in my book) If its something important I go through the actuall dealer cause I have alot of connections and I know im getting the real deal!


I have never had any welds brake on my cars just some dont line up correctly nothing a welder and grinder cant fix tho
