Can't fold down rear seats

I cannot get my rear seats in my 1998 integra GS to fold down, the plastic mechanism on the top of the seat is loose and just goes in and out freely. Is there any other way I can fold the seats down?

it may be a stupid question but I'm really frustrated and need some help.

Try to push the pin down and twist it, then pull it up slowly. Mine popped out and I did that and it worked.

Those knobs are threaded and it's probably loose. One of mine was loose once ages ago and when I pulled it up it actually popped off. I put it back in the hole and threaded it back on. It eventually stopped turning and it worked perfectly. Also it wasn't loose anymore.
