can you tell me why my gears are grinding

i have a 93 integra cable trans i recently change my clutch in my car. when putting back together the rear motor mount i only place 1 bolt to the motor so in other words i have 1 bolt holding my motor in the rear, a friend told me the reason his car grinds gear is because of his motor mount. i recently started to grind 1st into 2nd at about 8rpm when i shifting into the next gear this just started to happen. 3rd gear started to grind before replacing the clutch. the bearing inside the trans was broken but when i replace everything it still grind 2nd into 3rd after i get to about 2500rpm when i shift. when at lower rpm my gears would not grind can anyone help me.

Ive got a ACT stage 2 clutch and it's only grinded on me when I dont put the clutch in all the way it grinds the hell out of it, but the only thing I have for u is try pushing all the way down on the clutch when u shift, if not then I dont know but at least I responded lol. And mybe u should try having more than one bolt holding it in, that might help. If it's an automatic then I dont know anything cuz ive only drivin manual and dont know anything about how a automatic clutch works, good luck though.

I know my G2 grinds because the synchros are wore out.

Most g2s grind going in reverse, i figured a way around this.

put in new synchros or change your tranny fluid to something like amsoil,redline,royal purple or gm sychromesh.
also go to the dealer and get the oem bolts u were supposed to put in correctly the first time. dont cheat your ride.

My 3g ground and it was the throw out bearing and it still did when I was done. I used all the bolts and then I bled the sytem and adjusted the master cylinder. I don't know alot about the cable trans but is there a manual adjustment somewhere, maybe by the pedal or the release fork on the trans.

i do have a ls motor or should i say had ls lol i chipped my ECU and tuned it with chrome it is amazing that i sitll have power up there with a few bolt ons but i only was shifting up there cause i was SAD2 say trying to blow my motor that was the only way my parents was going to get my new motor but my clutch went again lol dont power shift with stock clutch everyday it only last 4months but im on my new project b20tec
