can i run gsr ecu on LS?

can i load an LS rom on a chipped gsr ecu and run it with LS motor?

i want to trade my ecu for a gsr. mine is chipped but it doesnt have a knock sensor board so i will need it when i put the gsr in my teg.
can i burn b18b rom on it and use it untill i get the gsr swapped or is it gonna be a problem?

both ecus are obd1

I don't think u could run a gsr ecu on ur ls harness. U have to do sum rewiring to make it work and not sure if the gsr ecu would work rite cuz ur ls has NO VTEC. I may be wrong bro. Just do ur research.

yea i know, the pins are just gonna be empty for vtec and knock sensor.

i think in CROME theres a checkbox to disable the knock sensor and i dont see why it wouldnt if i load the non vtec B18B maps on it with crome.
