can any help me, my car's loud

i have a situation i just got done fixing a couple of problems and got them all sorted out the weird thing is that keeps happening to me is now that im driving my da and im gunning it when it passes 4000rpm it feel like vtec but i dnt have vtec all i have is just type r pistons and camms can any one help me out:shock:

ummm thats normal isnt it? when i gun mine it is veryyyyy loud! louder than my moms civic when it hits vtec

thats right.
Just the normal way the engine sounds when ur pistons are EACH moving 20x or more in 1 second lol mine does the same thing

depends on the exhaust sometimes, my car has a "stock exhaust" but its not oem so it actually has a deeper and louder sound at full throttle than other DAs above 4k rpm like u said

i put in the pistons my self i got them off my buddys type r integra b18c5 but the camms were all ready on there wen i got the car i never took the time to take a look but u r right they cant fit so there some other kinda camms idk what they r but anyways thanx

mine gets hella loud when my boost kicks in, it sounds like a vacume the size of a house lol

i think he meant itr pistons and cams meaning two separate items :what:


But 4000 in a b series motor is when the fuel and air mix at optimum levels making a deeper sound
