Vins dont matter unless they come back to a stolen car. The DMV will only want to know the VIN for your vehicle. IE whats on the paper work, fire wall, door tag etc. I dont think they inspect it, as long as it smogs. I remember you have a B18C, those will not smog unless you convert it to a US spec with sensors etc.
