so i found a 97 gsr coupe with 76k original miles, clean title, selling for 6.5k. i checked it out yesterday, its a real gsr, no rebuild/swap, lowered a bit, type r lip. has dc headers, air intake. few dents, nothing big. it has six holes in the trunk and two on the panels from a 3 piece spoiler :(( im going to take it to a mechanic, but what do you guys think? is the pricing reasonable? thanks

The price seems a little high, but the miles sure are nice and low. Still seems high to me, especially considering there is needed body work...dents, holes...

where are you located? also do a kelley blue book on it at kbb.com and see what it goes for in you area then you can see if hes blowing it out his ass on the mds list.... RULE 1: you never get back on performance parts/ visual upgrades you only get half the value, if kelley blue book only says its worth 4k then you know hes over priced on a holy trunk with dc headers ebay lowering kit and "type R" lip. RULE 2: dont pay 6.5K thats retarded high if it had performance parts internally plus a damn good suspension its a maybe, if it were fully built GS-R then okay i could almost see 6.5k
