Bumpers Questions

I have a few questions about the bumper.

1.) Where can I buy the parts that attach the bumper sides to the fenders? The white things that you screw to the bumper, that slide in the holes on the fender..

2.) When painting a bumper, do I need something specific or can I just use normal automotive primer and paint?

I need to go buy some new parts to hold the bumper onto the fenders. Looks like 20 for both sides if I looked at the diagram correctly. Then I need some new corner and bumper lights...
And then paint. :D

My biggest worry with the paint was it sticking to the plastic. I figure with primer on it, then it should be fine.. but I was not really sure.

i always thought when u paint a piece of ur own car (door bumper fender etc) the color can be off, as the origonal paint is somewhat faded? compared to brand new paint? :???: there a way to compensate for that..?

Find a local paint shop and give them the color code on the door jam it will look a lot nicer and they will mix you up a sray can and you spray it yourself.
I took off my frount bumper many time and i just took off the meatle brackets on the side, It dosnt realy need it for suport. But thats my opinion.

I plan to get the color matched so that I don't have to worry about door jams or engine bay. (Which for the most part are not really needing paint.) I have my own spray gun and such so i'm doing it myself. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't flake off or something if I did the bumper. When I do paint the car, i'm painting it all so it won't matter if the old paint has faded. :D
