Sup Guys! I figured I would finally get to my build thread. I have always been a SI fan but I just sold my last build (2011) SI and its time for something new. Its really hard to build a K20 on a budget so after 12 grand and only 300 all motor hp I had to call it quits lol. So anyways I bought a 97 GSR in hopes to be able to build a affordable ride so we will see how this goes. So Far the car is down because I had to change the Input Shaft Bearing and Throw out bearing. And the guy that had the car told me that the motor mounts was bad and when I was under there I discovered the the one on the drivers side near the wheel well was completely missing. So eneded up getting the Innovative 75a mounts. Feel free to give any advise or suggestions since Im kinda of new to acuras.

Thanks man! I have a couple of dents here and there and they cut the exhaust off for some reason some reason but all in all I think I got a good deal. The dents are small and can be easily fixed and ill be getting a new exhaust so I think Ill be good.

I'm interested in your Si. Mind posting a quick build list you had? 300hp is a lot, how was it to drive? Nice DC2

Nice Teg.

But wait you spent 12k and only for 300hp out of the k20???? If I read that right then you did a lot wrong or that was for the whole car.

The mods are as follows 3in Full Race exhaust.Skunk2 Pro 2 Cams, Skunk2 72mm TB, Skunk2 Intake Manifold, Skunk2 Mega Power Headers, Skunk2 Complete Valvetrain, Hondata Flashpro, Acura RDX Injectors, everything was portmatched and Tuned by VitViper. and I over exaderated a little bit it was 269 to the wheels with 200tq. Cost way to much to build. and also the tuner that was working on the car to begin with tore it up and I had to get it towed from there and there was a big fight in all lol thats one of the reasons it cost so much cause other ppl had to figure out what the other guy did.

Hell of a nice set up. K series post all motor numbers that B series can only dream of. I'll buy a FA5 after college most likely. A great DD.

What is the best clutch flywheel combo right now?? I'm looking for one while the tranny is out cause I would be super pissed if I put the trans back in then that ish went out.

Just checking out the trans and putting in a new imput shaft bearing and throw out bearing!!! Then tomorrow I pick up the new oem clutch and ITR Flywheel
