Brand new gt28, oil in intercooler piping..

Hey guys, so I just finished installing my new gt28 which was an upgrade from my shitty eBay turbo. When I installed it, I primed the car, started it, let it idle for a bit, and them moved it out to the street. The next day I drove it 15 minutes to a shop to have some parts made, when they wanted too much I drove it back home (15 minute drive). Today I went to pull this intercooler pipe off that is too low (caused by my Downpipe being in the way) so that I could get it on a trailer to take to my buddys shop to get the downpipe re made, and there was brand new oil in the pipe that comes off the turbo.. what can be causing this? I have a .035 feed resteictor, and I think my drain is run right.. any ideas?

Those are the best pics I have right now of it. It's going to my buddies shop on a trailer tomorrow to get the downpipe re made, and can have him make a legitimate drain line other than this that was made for me by the company that tuned my car last. I do have a catch can but I have no vacuume source running to it

It's so much easier to run a drain line with the turbo facing the opposite way, but you still have AC. I would definitely fix that drain line before all hell breaks loose.

You Think the drain is the issue? That's the best I could get it, the downpipe is completely in the way, when it gets re made tomorrow ill Definetly be able to run the drain more efficiently. I just had to have it on at least to work a little so I could get it home from my girlfriends house where I put the turbo on.

The drain should have a constant drop, To me it looks like before it gets to the oil pan it goes alittle down than back up which isn't going to work properly

this and in the second pic it kinda looks like the lines is being pulled against the hot side of the turbo

It indeed doesn't look like a constant downward drain, and I refuse to use anything other than a welded bung to an OEM pan and AN fittings!

After you get the downpipe fixed, I'd recommend getting legit oil lines, Go-autoworks has a good kit for like $100 or so feed and drain. Not sure how your oil pan is but i'd either weld bung to oil pan to use a AN oil line like above poster said, Or get a moroso pan and it's already done for you, Just hook up the AN fitting to it.

This isn't a good picture but you can see my oil drain well sort've, It's from the top so you can't tell the slope but you sort've can. See how it comes off the turbo and it spirals down to the oil pan at a constant drop down. That's how it should be, If it gets flat at any point or goes up at all it can cause issues.

Ive got a moroso pan on right now with the bung already in it. I'll have my buddy make an Ss line tomorrow after we Fix the downpipe then. Hope I didn't Fuck the brand new turbo up having it run like that..

I don't think it looks that bad actually. I've seen worse work fine. But its hard to say without seeing it in person.

Even still, you cant put any hose that close to the heat (not even steel braided) without a thermal cover. When you redo the hose try to make it loop out around the downpipe like OneFastGSR. You may want to buy a 45* hose end for the oil pan bung to help angle the hose.
