Brake light problem

hey guys,

i have a minor brake light problem. when i do not turn on headlights during the day, my left and right brake lights work perfectly fine. but at night time when i do turn on the headlights, my left side brake light is down, therefore i only have the right side brake lights working. is there a problem with the wiring within the connection to the headlights? or is my left side bulbs just blown?? anybody have this happen to them or know the problem? it would be great help...thankx!!!

If your driver's side brake light bulb was blown, I don't think it'd light up at all, regardless of whether you have your headlights on or not.

Sounds like a wiring problem to me. I know nothing about electrical, though. lol Hopefully someone on here will help you out.

just replace the bulbs

replace the bulbs. they are dual filaments, one of them is out.
