bought a cb7 accord today

well, today, i bought a daily driver/family car so i can give the teg a rest. its a black 90 cb7 accord. here are some pics. the car is in pretty good shape, some rust here and there. but this isn't gonna be a mad show car or anything. just a daily driver for me and the mrs. also something a little easier to get a carseat in and out of.

i took a couple pics of the car, and here they are:

don't hate on the tails too much, they are gonna be there for a while. i'm not making a priority to replace to stock, my wife kinda likes them, but i'm not too big on them. eventually they will be replaced with stock lights, but not priority numero uno so to speak.
*had to whore my car up just a bit ;) *


the car is an automatic with 222,xxx miles on it. paid 1,000 for it. the transmission slips a little bit but nothing i can't deal with for a bit. i got a transmission for it, just need to find the time to do the swap. i must admit, for a car made in 1990, it drives and rides pretty nicely. ride is uber comfortable, especially for the age.

comments welcomed. i intend to paint the bumper lenses amber soon. as well as the corner lights. probably put an intake on it, only because i can get one for dirt cheap. just to make a little noise and get a little extra mpg lol

i'll be replacing them soon enough, just not priority. like i said, this isn't a project car really. but i agree, the tails on there now are FUGLY.

either stock lights, or maybe these:

i know they aren't REAL jdm tails or anything, but they look alot better than the ones on there now. plus they remind me of the stock lights on my DA right now (cleared 90-91 stock tails) the lights i just posted, are MUCH easier on the eyes that those EURO THINGS

werd if you arent trying to drop mad chedda why pay for stocks when the paint costs like $5 or $10

all i can say is f22b yeah!! and as far as the tails go do what youd like, paint or the ebays, either way will look good.

I know you don't want to mod it, but I'd get the stocks on there and then get some nice 15" rims. I hate to see hubcaps on cars lol. makes them look cheap.

I like thjose cars. They are pretty clean. those lights hurt my eyes though. deffinatly replace them when u get the chance.

I'd love to find a clean one with a manual tranny. looks nice from what I can see, though those lights made me have a seizure but im okay now.

I have a friend with one...he turboed it with a turbo and manifold off of my old dsm. damn thing is quick too! runs high 13's on his stock f22!
