There is nothing wrong with Golden Eagle, Darton is the main competition for Golden Eagle.

I would do it. What bore are you going with?

i would go to 83mm first so you have some rebuilds left. also, make sure to get a line bore done. buy your pistons first and send them out with your block to get sleeved so the shop can bore and hone it ''SPECIFICALLY" for your pistons

If you use golden eagle sleeves you'll either get their 84mm sleeves or their 81mm sleeves. Your not going to want to get them bored to 83mm because then you'll have to get their 81mm sleeves and they will be almost maxed out. If you get their 84mm sleeves like I did you will start with a 84mm bore and be able to rebuild it all the way to 87mm.

I've always used Golden Eagle and they have never failed.

I like GE because of the fact that they do everything in-house. So if there is a problem, there's only one place to call for any resolutions. I've got mine sleeved to 81mm, and couldn't be happier. remember, if you're a B-series engine, you won't be a true 2 litre, unless you bore to 84mm and STROKE to 89mm. Otherwise you're about 1.9 litre, and torque won't change much more than about 20 ft/lbs...

GE all the way.
