its not an 80 trim I can tell you that, it might have an .80ar but honestly if I were to guess what turbo that is in the picture i'd say a T25 from a DSM. It'll spool super quick on a 2.0, but in my opinion you'll have one hell of a time trying to hold boost to redline with that thing, most likely gonna see boost dropping off in the higher rpms. That turbo would be perfect for a junkyard D series build though.

Just do a quick search on yahoo of garrett .80ar turbo and you'll find a lot of stuff on it.

I've seen pics of it done on a K series...just try selling that turbo and step to a bigger one. You don't need a huge turbo unless your wanting huge numbers, but if you plan on going 84mm with a built motor you are most likely going for bigger numbers so miight as well buy the turbo to match

Haha well you're not going to pull anywhere near that with the turbo you have pictured. What does your future build consist of? Most people blurt out that they want 600hp, but few actually know how much it cost to have 600hp reliably or what parts to use in order to make that. Not saying you fall in this category, but just saying in general.

Well my block is being built at lansky racing crank balanced and micro polished sleeved bored out to 84mm forged pistons rods bearings arp studs head will be beefed up

My first thought as well.

Does Garrett even offer an internally gated .80 a/r?

Well I did some research on it and they did make a turbo with a .80ar, but its not an 80 trim. They supposedly came off 300zx's and silvias, but even then most that posted that info seemed confused about it.

I had laskey build my engine, you shouldn't have 10k in your motor. I have about 6500-7000 and thats including every bolt on the motor being brand new from Honda because I am anal lol.

I would look into selling that turbo you have, buying either a 60-1 or a 6262 and calling it a day. Even a 35r would get the job done
