Blox test pipe to Apexi N1

I'm going to be ordering my Tri-y header from speedfactory next week, and I plan on running a testpipe with it. I emailed Speedfactory and they couldn't confirm if a JDM ITR cat would bolt up or not. I was going to get the JDM length resonated test pipe from T1R so I wouldn't get rasp, but now it looks like I'll be getting the blox adjustable test pipe in 2.5" diameter. My question is, will this cause leaks when pairing it with the 2.36" N1 catback? Am I going to need a true 2.5" all the way back now?
