Blox ITR Style Knob

So I picked one of these up and was super pumped to put it on my car....however no matter which way I have the knob facing, when its all the way screwed on tight the numbers are upside down. Am I missing something here? I'm thinking about shaving the top of the shifter off a smidge so that the numbers will face the correct way...however I can't really see the design of the knob resulting in this....WTF am I doing wrong haha.

You take a nut with the same thread pitch and thread that on all the way down the shifter, then thread on the shift knob when it hits the bottom, unscrew it a bit untill the numbers are how you want them. Then tighten the nut up against the shift knob.

My skunk 2 knob came with the nut, your blox should have also

yea it did come with the nut...i didnt want to use it cause the knob can't sit all the way down on the knob with it. i'll give the paper method a shot...however i think i may just end up grinding down the shifter a bit so the knob sits closer to the boot. i hate the gap.
