Blowin tires

On the front left side, my tires keep blowing every few months and if i try to look where it is rubbing, i cant see anything. When i am driving though i can hear something wearing the tire out. I have pics of the old tire that i just now got replaced. Any suggestions on what might be rubbing? I also took it in to get it alligned but the people there couldnt do it because it is lowered. They came back to me with some other problems too: I need 2 lower balljoints, after market upper control arm bushings, and the right front inner boot is loose( no grease). ????

take the wheel off and look for places where the metal is polished. if nothing, you need an alignment. they could still adjust the toe even if its lowered.

as for the stuff they told you needing replacement,
you only need lower ball joints if they're ripped/squeaking.
you dont need bushings on the upper control arm unless they're broken
if there's no grease in the boot, you'll hear clicking when you turn

Camber/toe wear it looks like.

How low are you?

If your alignment is super far off, a very high toe-in will gobble up your tires. Something cutting into the tire wouldnt leave such a broad patch.

Ball joints are easy, but the lower ones are 25 a piece. The bushings in the upper control arms need to be pressed out. If you have a press then you're gravy, otherwise you need to take them to a shop to press them out, or drill/burn out the rubber and cut the metal band with a sawzall. Poly bushings go in fairly easily.
