blew block. now turbo build help!

So I was running my car with build in my Sig. I recently blew it up. So now new block and going to start my turbo build. I do not know much about these engines. It is a b18c1 block p72 head and obd1 p72 ecu. I would like to make 300hp give or take.. stay around 3 grand or so.. I have all parts in Sig plus new block turbo cams.. any info would help thanks.

Thinkin 9:1 or 9.5:1 piston.
Found few turbo kits that good for 300 to 350.
All parts that can will be diped and cleaned. Head and block decked.
Full new gasket set.

The block has the oil squirters blocked off.

i wouldn't lower the compression for that low of a power goal. using oem compression pistons or even higher will render more low end torque.
as long as you have a good tuner you will be fine.

Stock gsr should handle low psi with no prob but if u got the money then build the motor so u can run more boost...but unless u plan on running more than 12lbs I wouldn't lower the compression

For rite now I want 300 down the road might go higher. If you going to build it I might as well build it rite the first time

Sleeve the block then while you're at it.
