blacked out my emblems

here are a few pics of my emblems i blacked out. I KNOW i need to do the type-s im just trying to figure out if i want to keep the red or not?

I was just going to say that. I'm not too sure I like the "blacked out." I saw a Civic on HT that did a "black out" to the emblems, but it was more gunmetal then black. It looked awesome. Maybe that would've looked better. I'm not saying it doesn't look bad, but maybe it's too black.
