Black flap under bumper

Does anyone with a G3 have the problem with the black "flap" (dont know what else to call it) underneath the front bumper. it looks like it should be bolted up to the bottom of the car, but it hangs down and scrapes the ground. Ive seen it on a lot of other g3's but was wondering of anyone fixed the problem.

You talking about the part of the bumper that extends back under the car from the lip? That part of my bumper hangs down too. The pops or screws or whatever is suppose to hold it up have been missing since I bought it. There are 2 of them. I've even gone to the dealership to get them and they can't get them anymore. It sucks seeing it hang down under there, I need to get my butt up under there someday and come up with a solution, just haven't taken the time.

mine was on there but when i went to bring it to get an oil change when they guy took it off the lift since my cars dropped it grabbed on to the lift shit and got ripped off and took out a corner of my bumper wit it lol....i was pissed tho and i tol dat nigga he betta fix it or i was gonna kick his ass and make dem pay for it. he tried to say he didnt do it when i watched it all happen lol.....afta dat i was like fuck dis shit i aint gonna have my bumper get pulled off everytime dis shit decides it wants to grab on to something. so i took it off and it actually makes the car look alot nicer.

i'd ziptie it or find some homemade way to rig it before removing it. think of all the extra crap that will get up in your engine bay and on your radiator if there's nothing there.. ewww.
