black box

there is a black box on the back of the motor, its kinda soft black foam or something, guy had a hose blocked off with a bolt, can anyone tell me what it is, and what needs to go there, thanks alot

This? Its not foam, its metal. The tubing that comes up (which you have blocked off) goes through a couple elbows and into the nipple on the intake manifold.

thats it, i notice there is another nipple that isn't hooked up, were does that go
