I actually like when people get all pissy and swerve around me. I find the s*** hilarious when they're stopped at a red light and I catch up as the light turns green, zipping right past them :D

What's up with your yellow plate btw, trying to fool the idiots around you into thinking you have a Kei car?

O.O And yet people don't see the need for a helmet.... That thing looks like a CycleGear bargain bin special too.

Yea I don't know how people don't wear a helmet. If I wasn't wearing mine years ago, I wouldn't be here today.

I always wear helmet, gloves, jeans, shoes, and at least a armor vest (bought it for when I used to stunt ride). I don't wear a jacket and I don't think I ever will, I know I should but I love the wind.

Get some riding shoes if you wear normal shoes, The ankle protection's what's important & some armored mesh pants, Elbow pads wouldn't hurt either but then you'd start looking goofy

I can't stop laughing, So many people make this mistake. :rolf:

I use some beater Adidas' for riding shoes, normally a white tee, Dickies shorts and my backpack.... Scooter squid or does it not matter since I can only top 50mph or so?

Honestly, You can still do damage at that speed easy but because it's a scooter I wouldn't wear much either, Probably a helmet, Gloves and normal clothes.

I know there's the risk of getting kinda fucked up, but I won't even go to the gas station a few blocks away without my damn helmet. I've also been meaning to grab a pair of gloves from Cycle Gear, but they're normally closed when I'm in that area. :what:

Think a pair of mx gloves will do?

Go to an auto parts store, My advanced auto carries a s*** load of Mechanix gloves, They have armored and regular, Just pick which ever price you feel comfortable with, A lot of Supercross and Fmx guys use them, GoPro even has a MotoX step up vid where the rider has a pair, The regular ones are like $18 and I think the armored ones are around $30.

Or mx gloves will be fine if you want a different design.

I thought about those, but both the Advance and Autozones around me charge around $25 for the normal pair. I could probably score a pair of Fox gloves for about $15 on sale.

Now I wanna go pick up a pair mechanix gloves, lol.

I'm probably gonna pick up some Dianese mx gloves when I get my bike together, Judging from how amazing Agv/Dianese's helmets are I hope their glove are just as good.
