Best B18 Turbo Motor Build

I recently returned to the Integra World. And I'm getting ready to invest in a new motor for my 96 LS integra My goal is to apply turbo to the motor and install all nessisary internal parts to head and block to make the vehicle reliable for daily street use, time to time racing and the occasional nitro boost without blowing it. I have a B16C(JDM ITR) transmission I recently purchased. I'm not sure if I should go with a b18b, b18b/b20, b18c1 or b18c5 for head and block. Iv spent countless hrs reading forums and I can't find a definite answer from what Iv read I understand that going with a b18b would be the best investment for turbo if I change out internal parts i.e cams, vaulves, retainers and springs. Rods, pistons maybe even a stroke kit, Port and polish the head and sleeved. Insted of going with a b18C. What do you all recommend my budget is caped at 5k but honestly would not like to spend over 3k I want a fun reliable motor with turbo and the ability to squirt juice. I'm also curious if I do end up going with a b18b how much needs to be ported on intake and exhaust and how much needs to be sleeved?

1. what is nitro boost?
2. what is a B16C?
3. For 3K or less you could get you a good turbo kit and boost the stock motor. Look at go-autoworks.
4. What do you mean by how much needs to be sleeved. You either get the blocked sleeved or you dont...

My suggestion is to keep reading and learn a little bit more. You need to understand the terminology and the parts and what their purposes are. Then you need to establish a power goal to go along with your buget and then make a decision...

1. Nitrous Oxide System
2. B18*C JDM Type R Transmisson (LSD)
3. Willing to invest 3-5k in motor not to include turbo or nitro kit
4. How much needs to be sleeved? Specific amount of mm?

I'm a noob at forums first time ever asking for suggestions online I normally just read.
Thx for ur reply but none of that helps me I need to know what head and block to invest money on for my ultimate goal turbo/nitro reliable motor.

:( haha i feel stupid sorry im a noob at this but maybe ill get better at forums communication some day
b18*c ITR transmission
countless hrs i guess i exaggerated a little maybe spent about 6 hrs reading google search n forums

let me try again
so say i come to you and say... i want to build a motor for my integra... (96 ls)
i want the motor to have a turbo kit and a nitrous oxide system
i have 3-5 thousand dollars (just for the motor, not to include turbo or nitrous kits)
i alrdy have a transmission b18c itr

i was expecting an answer like...
well Scrillacon i recommend u get a (? head) with a (?block) because....
and upgrade the following internal parts(?)
and when u take your head to the machine shop tell the machinist to make the ports at least this size(?)
and your sleeves need to be at least (?? 86mm 90mm??)
this will make a reliable motor that will let you run a turbo kit and nitrous oxide system.

i hope that clears things up

Good to see someone who dug a little deeper and found what they needed. If you still have questions that are more specific, don't be afraid to ask!
