Battery Light on

so my battery light turns on.&i take my battery to autozone for a check.it says its a bad battery.i bought a new one&the light is still on.&while i was driving my car the clock was slowly dimming out&my stereo kept going out.what can be the problem?

also my idle is keeps going up&down.what can be the problem?

how could they not check charging voltage, its safe to say your alternator is defunked.

Sounds like your alternator isnt replenishing the used electricity, so instead of the output being constant, it diminishes
