So I'm putting a new deck in the car, I had an old alpine in it that worked fine, and now that it is out, I'm not getting power to my constant 12v, the 12v switch is fine, no fuses blown at all, any causes known?
Wiring is so random some times its near impossible for us to diagnose the problem. Its fairly easy to diagnose in person if you know what you're doing. Just follow the wires and you'll see where your losing power.
make sure that the wires are right. The older cars like ours sometimes used funky colors for their stereo wiring. I think in my teggu the +12 volt constant was red and the yellow was the ignition but im not sure, it might be the other way around.
