Bare Minimum Amp for Sub

I have an Alpine 200w RMS sub.
Does anybody know the bare minimum wattage Amp that I will have to have hooked up to this? It seems every amp that I look at only has the peak output listen instead of RMS output.
Cheers

100 RMS..the reason why the only thing you see on amps is Peak is because of marketing! lol its a higher number than RMS lol

RMS is usually listed in spec sheet, not the box or label.

theres really no minimum

the sub will only play what the amp gives it.
so if you hook up a 10 watt amp to it you will only get lil less than 10 watts... but thats not really usefull.

its best when power is matched to the sub.

Well, for 99% of amps out there, the peak wattage is exactly double what the RMS wattage is. So you can go by that pretty reliabley.
