baking headlights?

i bought another set of oem headlights last night and im wanting to take them apart to detail them and make them look like new before i put them on in place of my current ones anyone ever baked them i read about it on google links said put them in the oven at 415 for about 5 mins to take them apart any input would be great thanx

id never put anything plastic in the oven. if you want to take it apart, use a heat gun. ive seen too many people ruin their headlights that way.

i picked up a heat gun and it was pretty easy to do. ive done it to my tails to try something out.

sounds good thanx coy the oven thing sounds sketchy but honestly it was the most popular way of doing it that i found thru google
