hello im new to the forum and the import car world. after owning 4 mustangs and 2 camaros over the past couple years i finally decided to buy an import which turned out to be a 92 integra ls 5 speed . the car has 180 thousand miles on it and the guy said it had a bad fuel pump i picked it up for 500 bucks .after the 3 hour drive to get it. to my surprise the car started and i drove it on the trailer and brought it home. the car cranks and revs ok in neutral but when trying to drive the car it bogs real bad and has no power just wanted to know if i should go ahead and buy the fuel pump and which one ? there is no check engine light on

Try a fuel filter, spark plugs, wires, and a nice oil change. Then if it continues you could always upgrade to a walbro fuel pump or whatever.

I don't think it's a fuel pump. Usually they work or they don't.

I suggest a full tune-up as mentioned above. Do you have the CEL on?

I would invest in a fuel gauge first. I don't think it's your fuel pump honestly. $10 from Harbor Freight.

If you DO end up having a bad fuel pump- upgrade to a Walbro 255lph. It's probably less then $100. The only downside is that on a 90-93 Integra you have to remove the fuel tank to get to the fuel pump. -_-

fuel gage is fine but i have found that its the fuel pump.... you can hear it cut on sometimes and the car cranks ..when u dont hear it the car wont crank and when you do hear it the pump sounds weak

I mean a gauge to check the pressure, not the gauge in the dash that tells you your fuel level.

Main relay, or wiring could be an issue as well as the pump itself. You have to drop the fuel tank to actually test the pump.. my car has an issue with the plug under the rear seat, it needs to be wiggled to make a good connection. It will randomly not start because of this.
