Bad alternator / Battery?

Battery light comes on and off randomly, mainly off, but comes on for about a minuite then turns off and will randomly come back on. Nothing to do with rpms it seems. When the battery light is on, the rear wiper is super slow

The battery has some corrosion on it, would that cause this?

Im going to clean it in shop class tommorow, but any help suggestions on what else it could be would be awesome!

Im thinking alternator, but so far its had no torubles turning over. Starts first time.

What are some ways I could check if it was alternator?

this is indicating a problem with your alternator, this happened to me when my alternator eventually blew up.
What is happening is when your alternator gets older it slows down, it cant run everything straight off it so your battery is forced to do the work.. this is why your wipers are slow..

I think you will find that in a few weeks the alternator will blow up ;( pain in the ass to replace too..
I think there should be a guide to replace the alternator, a cheaper alternative to buying a new one is to rebuild your old one.

Cleaned all the corosion off of the posts and terminals. Got a voltmeter, and everything seems to be good!
