B20B Turbo?

HEy I have a 1992 Acura Integra GS with a rebuilt B20B. Would there be any issues with installing a turbo and keeping the HP around 250-280. I heard if you keep the HP below 300 you will be less likely to damage the engine. Would instaling a turbo on a stock non-vtec b20b be an issue? Just want to make sure I dont blow my engine? Engine was rebuilt about 4 years ago and has around twelve thousand miles.

no problem boosting a b20b. just get a moderate turbo set up(but not ebay special) and once all is in order just get it tuned my a REAL tuner.

When people ask me these types of questions my response is usually, its not a matter of if it breaks, but when it breaks, and what it breaks. That tends to hold true for most cases. If you don't have the time, money, know how, to fix it WHEN it breaks, going with a turbo setup might not be the best way to make some extra power. I try to tell people all the time that a properly setup nitrous kit will make about the same power as a low boost stock internal setup for less money. And the advantage is when you are not spraying the motor it has stock like reliability, unlike going cheap turbo setup, and when you do spray it, when set up correctly, its no harder then if you were running the turbo.
