Thanks guys for all your help on my last post... I am in need of help again, I hav a '91 LS with a b20b block and a b18 head... Now my problem is I do not know what year both are from, because I bought the car as is and the guy didn't tell me much about it when we traded... How do I find out what year & model the block & head are from???? Because I want to have the car dyno tuned properly... Can anyone help me????

The block and head should have casting numbers on them a google search will prob help with at least a gen of each I know on my stock LS block under b18a1 there is a castin number the head castin number I believe is straight up from b18a1 number is on head left and up of where exhaust manifold bolts on I wish my phone could download pics easy

The numbers are Block - B20B, but I cannot find what model and year it is from... As for the Head - P75-2, is one of the numbers I have found... Is that the correct number, and if so what is the Engine Head Codes????

Accordin to honda tech.com forum guy says his stock 98 LS has p75-2 so yea its a 98 b18b1 head on a 96-98 crv block. My friend zack is bout to drop a vtec b20 in his Gsr dc2 with a b1 in it currently.

Oka... What ECU would it be, because I did see a port under the dash??? I'm guessing it might be an OBD-0, but I am unsure...

Well if you live in cali and had to smog it you would be fucked unless you bar tag the engine but you would have to use ecu from either one of the vehicles I would think the LS since the crv wouldn't be very sport but to smog it it would have to be whatever the block is. If there is no obd 2 port anywhere then they hid it not sure either? Is there a check engine light?

Find the computer it should have a number on it that will help tell you what its out of. If they cut the obd connnector you will get a check engine light on all time I believe.
