If you have a new clutch you need to re-surface your flywheel or buy a new one.

Its like 20-30 bucks to have the flywheel resurfaced and takes less than an hour to do. I had my stock one resurfaced for my build.

I'd recommend getting a new one, just cuz it'll be at factory specs

Umm resurfacing is every bit as good as new, buying a new flywheel is a waste of money in my opinion. I am not a fan of lightweight flywheels, so I guess I don't see a reason at all outside of replacing a bent flywheel, for a need to ever buy one.

I dont know what happened to the pic of mine, but heres what one looks like after being resurfaced, it does nothing to the specs of the flywheel, it just cleans the surfce up to give the clutch a better contact surface

I've always gotten new ones, I was told its bad to resurface them, no proof, just what I was told by a parts store, they said for like $2 more I could get a new one and then they price matched it down the $2 to the same price as the resurfacing, so its not like they made extra money by selling it, but that's just my $0.02, your car, these aren't my words, this came from car quest actually

So how is resurfacing bad??? I'ts just making it smooth. It's bad when people shave them off to make a custom lightweight one.

I bought a new one for $80 bucks at AZ a while back. It will still be about double than what it costs to resurface. It just depends if you need it or not. If it still has a lot of life... why replace? If you're using stock. Ok. I can understand because it's not expensive, but think about the people that have expensive flywheels.

i definately agree with this statement. please people light flywheels and underdrive pulleys do alot of damage to our engines. please stay away, lol.
