B18C to B18A, parts interchangable?

could i use b18c1 and b18c5 parts on my b18a1 such as alternator, intake manifold, header, and pretty much anything else. thanks for the help guys. anyone know if there is such a thing as a performance alternator for my b18a1? thanks again.

alternator: not sure why you would want to but it will physically fit. whether or not it will work depends on the connectors and pulley diameter and type of belt

and not sure what you mean by a performance alternator... they have higher output alternators or they have underdrive pullies for them

intake manifold: no both the C1 and C5 has a different bolt pattern

header: will physically mount to the head but there will be differences where it meets the catalytic converter

B18c and B18c5 are two different heads. C1 is a C1 head and the C5 is a B16a Head.
Header off of a c5 will fit exactly the same on a 3rd gen. so you need modification
Altinator doesnt make a difference
and there is no performance altinator

thanks guys. i know it's a goofy question but i was just curious, i figured maybe a itr alternator would be better performance and reliability wise rather than a stock one for a b18a1. that's why i was wondering about the alternator.

LS and Vtec B series have the same exhaust manifold flange. So if you have one on your car now, you can use it on a GSR or ITR swap.

cool. thanks cause one day i defenitely want to get an itr motor but i want to buy a header for my b18a1 now and was hoping i'd be able to just use it on the itr swap eventually without having to buy a new header you konw?
