B18 long block differences?

Hello this is my first question on here. I have a 1990 ls b18a1. If I use my intake manifold wiring dizzy injectors does it matter what year the long block is from (90-93)? Reason I ask the local self serve junk yard has lots of these available. I was going to aquire a long block and get it honed and ringed and the bearings done. Take the head to a local guy thats pretty good. That way I dont have to shut down my car while the engine is being built. I have read that the 92 93 has more agressive cams?? Any help would be appreciated as to the differences in these long blocks. Thanks

No, it doesn't matter given the conditions you mentioned. And the difference in the cams is minimal and you'll never notice it.

The difference in cams doesn't even exist...look up the part number, they are identical ;) Intake manifold and ecu tuning make up the extra 10hp
