b18/b18c1

I have a normal b18 in my integra, and am wanting to buy a 70mm skunk2 throttle body and a skunk2 intake manifold. Are both of them able transfer from the b18 to a b18c1 if i were wanting to get a swap later on? Or will i have to buy a new throttle body and intake manifold?

you have a b18b1 and no it won't fit. that heads are different.

what does throttle body do???? and are there choices or just 70mm??

the throttle body controls the amount of air flowing into the engine. 70mm is a larger than stock so it allows more air in. there are different sizes available. just to compare sizes, a stock gsr throttle is 60mm (not 100% positive but its around there).

no way do you need a 70mm throttle body for any all motor application. GSR or ITR it doesnt matter and it would be completely overkill for your LS, you would completely kill the flow velocity of air going into the intake manifold.

a 70mm throttle body isnt even needed unless you go heavy into forced induction..

in this case bigger isn't always better.... honestly a throttle body is one of the last things you should worry about.
