B16b swap or b18c

Now before we start talkin... yes I know the difference and yes I know the b18c is a better motor, but heres the situation.

I have a 90' DA wit a b20 swap I picked up a few months ago... clutch went out on the car and after goin through 3 diff clutches (one of which was my fault becuz didnt know there was a diff between 90-91 trannies and 92-93 trannnies) after trial and error found I need a tranny as well.

So since I cant BAR this car anyways becuz of b20, I have found a reasonably priced b16b with all new head work for $1600 and a bone stock b18c for $1800...Now money in mind, which would u choose... this car is not my dd and after I get it BAR'd i might do some bolt ons then prob sell it...

Any suggestions or opinions...

Also what would I need exactly to make this work in my car? I know ill need an obd0-obd1 swap/connector swap... and possibly all new mounts?

If i were to assume both are R motors since you didnt specify which C motor, i would take the b18c for what should be obvious reasons. If for some reason youre talking about a jdm gsr motor then id personally probably take the the b16 R motor due to the nature of its performance enhancements. But i believe the first scenario is more accurate.

This assumes youre not going to do much beyond drop them in and bolt on's. Its a small price difference and if youre going to heavily mod them (n/a), i dont think either one is really a weaker choice.

Yes both r type r motors.... which would be easier to swap? Same aftermarket mounts needed for both?
