b16a or build ls for turbo???help

I just bought a 93 integra ls 5 speed with 186000 miles. i plan on getting a peak boost turbo kit soon. Before that i would either like to do an engine/tran swap with a b16a or should i just rebuild the ls with performance internals??? My goal is 300whp and i dont wana spend more than $3000 on the swap or rebuild.

for under 3k you can get a complete gsr swap and build it. or, leave it stock and run 10's like this guy

but I wouldn't want a b16 in a teg. I know the xsi came like that, hell I almost bought an auto single cam integra that was imported from japan, but IMO anything less than a 1.8L in a teg doesn't seem right. So if I were you, I would either build the ls or do a gsr swap.

for 3,000 dollars you cant get 300 horsepower all motor so youd prolly need a turbo for your budget

source a turbo kit for yourself. you can easily get everything you need for under a grand and turbo it without having to go to the ebay stuff. probably well over 200 to the wheels on like 7lbs of boost.
