I'm sure this has been covered many times but, I'm coming up limited on answers.:???: But, I've read that swaping in a b16 obd0 is a direct bolt up and wiring up vtec and ecu. Then later to obd1; The reason I choose to swap in this motor and boosting it rather than boosting the 195k b18a is I liked the idea of oil squirters coolling the pistons as I build up my turbo kit. I'm looking around 350whp with a alky kit (depends if i can find a tunner that'll tune with it).
But, right now I'm mostly concerned about the b16 swap, turbo can come later.
Or
Since I have a spare head (doulbe valve spring, new valves) (b18b1) and I have a bent valve(s) (super rough idle and previous owner snap the timming belt). I could swap the head over on the b18a block then boost it? But, then how much can I go safely? ect..
sorry for the long post but, opinions are apreciated.
