B16 Hydro tranny on gsr motor?

something feels very odd lately, it seems currently everytime i push in the clutch, theres an increase and more increase in free play on the clutch pedal.


i fear my clutch is going out on me. Problem is, when i first purchased the car, the seller told me there was a b16 hydro tranny in it. i'm not too keen on Mechanism.....so what clutch do i buy? a b16 clutch or a b18c1 gsr clutch to replace the worn out one?


as it sits right now, its a b18c1 with a b16 hydro tranny attacted as the drivetrain.

any advice is appreciated so much. thanks in advance.....

a b series vtec clutch is a b series vtec clutch
they are the same part #.

and might i suggest an exedy stage 1 organic clutch :thumbup:

hey man before you waste money on a new clutch
and since you dont know how to put one in, thats another 300-1000 dollars
i would bleed your clutch, that sounds like thats whats wrong to me
might save you alot of money

yep there like 20 somthing bucks and if its leaking and your just low on fluid that is a lot cheaper than a new clutch
