Axle Transmission Problems

I have a 96 ls with a 98 ITR Engine/Tranny Swap. I bought type R axles, but the passenger side keeps popping out of the transmission. I replaced the axle a couple of times. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem.

I tried to replace the axle, didn't work. Replaced the snap ring, didn't work. I think that with mine, the part the snap ring goes into in the tranny is worn and not holding it in correctly. If it's something else I would really like to know because it is driving me crazy.

I have a b17 and a 90ls tranny.
