My axel keeps poping out after a few days on the passenger side. we have replaced the axel 3 times with a stock one, same results everytime. could the transmission be bad? I'm not a huge car person so I'm not quite sure how to fix this issue... please help lol

yea the teeth line up and it goes back in, but after a few days it pops back out, we replaced the little clip too, that didnt work either. I have another transmission but id hope to not have to go through changing that lol

is there a ring on the end of the axle that goes into the tranny hole?

Ohh that sounds dirrty :naughty:

lol Op sounds like the diff may be the culprit. You're sure all the teeth are good? Are you positive you're getting the axle all the way into the trans?

How are your motor and trans mounts? Sometimes if they're all blown, the drivetrain slop can cause axles to break or pop out.

i never checked my mounts, ill do that and see if their good. the teeth all look fine in the trans .. but the transmission grinds sometimes when i shift, and i know its prob fucked, i have another transmission but hopefully it wont come to that

The only thing that holds these axles in is a c-clip. I had the same problem with my passenger side on my old trans. I thought that most likely the groove where the c-clip snaps into was wore out. You might try fitting a bigger c-clip, I did that and it worked a litttle better for me. Although eventually I just bought a new transmission.

autozone ones will have their c clips like go bad after a while
I tried oem axles, autozone axles, everything I could think of with my tranny and it didn't work. It shifted great through the gears but the axle would eventually work itself out.

OP you tranny probably blew because whenever the axle pops out your fluid will leak out everywhere as well. No tranny fluid=problems.
