axle doesnt move

just got a 92 integra gs. right front axle is bad and makes a sever clunk noise while driving. but my left front axle doesnt move at all when in gear while i have it in the air. the car still drives fine on the road besides the clunking noise that im fixing later tonight. just wondering if any one has any incite into this problem whether its tranny or axle realted

Remember that the diff sends all the power through the easiest route whether that be the tire with the least traction or the axle with the least resistance so it will spin the easier one if they aren't close to the same rolling resistance
