Hey Guys,
Having some problems out of my 1990 Integra GS. It's an automatic. And here recently in this cold weather it's not shifting properly. I've tried letting it warm up in the mornings, and it doesn't really help. The only thing I noticed that helped was driving it around for at least 10 minutes at low speeds. This only seems to happen on cold days or when I just crank it up at night.
Here's a scenario:
I get in. Cranks right up. Start to drive. Car shifts out of first into second just fine. But seems to be stuck in second for what is usually 5 - 10 minutes. Then after a while it just shifts right into third and I don't have any more problems out of it until I let it sit in the parking lot at work overnight. Then I go through the same process on the way home.
My transmission pulls really strong and never slips. It seems to be possibly a computer problem. Any hints or tips would be great.
