auto tranny won't shift after B18 swap

I have a 91 integra. Just had the motor replaced due to driving with no oil (not me). Swapped same for same. After the swap, auto tranny does not shift out of first. Was working fine before the "incident".

Today, we drove another 91 to the house with no issues, pulled the auto and swapped it out and my 91 is doing the same exact thing with the new tranny. Any ideas what could be causing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm thinking it might be the ecu. I'm not too knowledgeable with autos, but is it the ecu that determines when to shift?

Get a manual trans

did you put the flex plate on on the right way and tq it to spec when you installed everything onto the new motor?

your trans is electronically shifted.does the S3 light blink? i would check your TPS, swap it from your old motor and see what happens
